Look what arrived in the mail!

Michael Pritchard's water filter turns filthy water drinkable.

(Wikipedia) In 2007, a few LifeSaver bottles were tested by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and found to completely filter out bacteria and viruses. [6]

The bottle's interchangeable filter can purify between 4,000 and 6,000 liters (1,050 to 1,585 gallons).[2] It filters out objects wider than 15 nanometres—including viruses, bacteria, and heavy metals.[3][4] The carbon filter does not require chemicals.[4] The process of filtering the water takes 20 seconds, allowing for 1.5 pints of water to be filtered.[4] Once a filter has reached its limit, it will not allow contaminated water to be drunk.[4] The Livesaver bottle has been used by soldiers for drinking water as well as cleaning wounds.[2][3][4]

Arrived just in time for the early August canoe/camping trip! Thanks again Justyna!

Honduras (Montagua) vs. TFC

TFC hosted the Honduran club Tuesday night in the first leg of its CONCACAF Champions League qualifier, a match the Canadian club had to win to have any legitimate chance of qualifying for the tournament.

Thanks to Claire for rounding up the troops and providing unbelievable front row seats!

Nice and hot Tuesday night at the park. Certainly didn't hurt that Motaga hadn't played in a couple of months....

The winner of the home-and-away series advances to the group stage of the 2010-11 CONCACAF Champions League, a 16-team competition featuring the best teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean.

Toronto and Motagua will play the second game next week in Honduras.

Jeremy's 31st Birthday

Jeremy's birthday weekend. We started off at the TFS vs. Dallas FC game. First half rainy, beer, 0-0.

Second half, the sun came out, we could see the CN Tower, and an up close great goal. 1-1 was the final, and despite the score it was tonnes of fun.

After the game, we took a rest and met the crew at Oyster Boy, as per tradition.

Derek and Lisa. Derek was a trooper that night, allergic to oysters, he tried to stay away...

Cladam.

Dharam and Sophie. With the opportunity, I'd like to thank Sophie, Seper and Sandra for taking some great pictures throughout the night, and making some memories. Is it any wonder they all start with 'S'? You've been warned.

Socialism through soccer. How many communist countries can you think of? How many play soccer? All of them...

Anyway, all smiles that night...

The updated Oyster Boy photo.

Seper's pizza oyster.

One of the first of Seper's on the hour photos of the birthday boy.

Off to Lot 16! Thanks to Brad and Raven for making the place look fantastic!

The dance.

The dance.

More than just brotherly love.

Sophie, Dharam and Jer.

Sandra, Donna, Sep and Chris.

Shots for the birthday boy!

Donna, Mitali, and Chris.

Mr. Shawn

Sandra, with a flash off the mirror. Perfect.

Seper, with a kiss on the well deserved cheek. I'm digging Chris' shirt too.

Chris and Donna...

... off the mirror.

My boy.

Hand hand block.

I know I really should be more picky and choosy with these pictures, but I kinda like them all..

Now that is how you feel someone up.

Sandra and Asia!

Haha... Seper getting the finger wave!..

Everyone smiling the entire night. Great night.
