Apparently Jack White is a fan... I heard an interview with them (the two surviving brothers of three) this morning on the CBC.. Politicians in my Eyes does rock.

Organics exposed

I suppose to get money behind them this seems pretty inevitable, but it is a bit disheartening seeing so many sell-outs (and I'm pretty damn sure this isn't all of 'em)... On the other hand, if given operational freedom by the parent companies, this could be tribiotic relationship, considering the consumer also benefits...

Alright, I'm done for the day and gonna head home... pick me up my own Bananagram game pack... I got a lead on Roncesvalles.

Hip-Hop Karaoke...

Well, gotta try everything at least once... so tonight this happens:

The Toronto edition of Hip-Hop Karaoke celebrates its second birthday at Revival tonight, and its organizers are experiencing anything but the terrible twos. For one thing, most two-year-olds don't have Maestro Fresh Wes perform at their birthday parties.

One of my friends is really into the Maestro, so I might as well tag along; looks like it should be fun and a good way to get out of another rough week...

UPDATE: ok, so never ended up going to this... went instead and saw perhaps a better show at the Dakota. Bradleyboy (a one man band) and Catl.

Earth Hour is coming up...
