LHC pop-up book
Accompanied by beautiful intricate drawings, seven innovative pop-ups reveal the inner workings of the experiment. There are many flaps to open and tabs to pull - the reader can even build their own pop-up ATLAS!
How does such a complex endeavour come to be? What are the challenges building and operating such a mind-boggling experiment? Three imaginative pop-ups show ATLAS in its underground cavern, the control centre on the surface and the tricky manoeuvring needed during installation.
Pippa!
